Hello and thank you for stopping by! I'm Cynthia, owner of Better Than Chips Vintage - named because while few things are better than chips - or fries for my North American vintage lovers - a fabulous vintage find definitely tops them!

I've been collecting vintage clothes for over 20 years. I was about thirteen the very first time I walked into a vintage shop and that was it for me. My heart raced as I flicked through rails that spanned eras and transcended trends, and to this day, whether sourcing or shopping for my own wardrobe, my heart rate picks up when I'm around vintage clothes!

I love a good classic piece, but my heart often leads me to source one-of-kind special gems, the ones that will have people, begging you, "WHERE did you get that?" To which of course you'll reply, "It's vintage darling!"

It's so important to me to offer my customers a fun, fabulous shopping experience. I want vintage shopping to feel like a wonderful treat, so I ensure my pieces have been laundered and steamed and are ready to wear. I also gift-wrap each order with paper, ribbon and a handwritten Better Than Chips Vintage, just like the luxury department stores back in the day <3
